Psalm 46:1-3 God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea. Let the oceans roar and foam. Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge!
We are amazed at the perseverance and strength of Lynde. When others all around her are running, laughing, and just doing daily tasks (even like eating any kind of food they want) Lynde is staying strong and positive. She watches us eat fruit (her favorite snack) and doesn’t complain; instead, she has a sweet potato, or a nut, or a dried veggie. She arises in the morning, unsure of what the day will bring, but her focus for the last 7 months has been researching Lyme disease. She is truly Lymed out. It is amazing how God is working in all this; we have prayed for guidance (along with many of you) for Lynde to understand what antibiotics will produce a return to health. Since there are 300 different kinds of Lyme Disease and many co-infections, it is difficult for doctors to pinpoint the type each person has and the appropriate treatment. It is up to the patient to record and report their responses to each medication. The website lymnet.org has 30,000 + contributors. Everyone has a different story and a different form of treatment. It’s mind boggling, and can become very frustrating, yet Lynde and Brad are continuing to move forward on this quest for a cure.
Praising God for her persistence. I know that it's not easy and some times it's a fake it til you make it mentality-- but her strength is amazing and one that can only come from relying on GOD! Thank you for being there and helping tell their story!
